According to multiple sources,
Apple will equip the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max with a 120Hz refresh rate display this year.
According to the latest report,The 120Hz display of the iPhone 13 Pro series is exclusively supplied by Samsung. It is reported that this batch of 120Hz displays uses rollable flexible PCBs, which are LTPO TFT OLED panels.
It was previously reported
that LG and BOE are also expected to enter the iPhone 13 screen supply chain, but their LTPO screen yield and production capacity may not meet Apple’s standards. BOE may even be a supplier of refurbished or after-sales spare parts for the iPhone 13, with a relatively small order of magnitude.
In fact, as early as 2017, Apple launched the 120Hz ProMotion high screen refresh for the iPad Pro, but considering factors such as power consumption, the iPhone has never been able to get involved.
