There are only weeks left to unveil Huawei’s upcoming 5G tablet

The unveiling of Huawei’s next 5G tablet is just weeks away https://www.duzline.com

It is rumoured that Huawei will unveil its first flagship phone, line on April 17, 2021. The P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro + will be available in limited numbers as revised in the US Chip Export Rule, which came into force last September.

Under the new rule, a foundry that uses US chip manufacturing technology is not allowed to ship to Huawei without permission from the US Department of Commerce.

As a result, Huawei’s stock of 5nm Kern 9000 chips can be greatly reduced to achieve the full production process of the advanced storage “P” series flagship focused on its camera.

What Huawei plans to use is a “light” version of the Karen 9000 chipset called the Karen 9000E on the P50 model. While the CPU and GPU used on both chips are the same, the Karen 9000’s NPU includes two large cores and one small core.

The Karen 9000 E processor has a larger NPU and a smaller core. While both chips use Mali-G78 GPU, the Kern 9000 GPU has 24 cores while the 9000E uses Mali-G78 GPU version with 22 cores.

We can see that the Huawei MediaPad Pro 2 5G tablet was revealed on April 17th alongside the P50 line.

Another device that could be with three P50 units was unveiled next month. The Huawei Media Pad Pro 2 5G will be the company’s next flagship tablet, and it will also run the Karen 9000 and will run on Pad OS.
The latter is based on the compatible Huawei operating system. Two different models are expected, one with a 12.2-inch screen by Hua Xing, and the other with a 12.6-inch screen from Samsung. Both will give a 120Hz refresh rate that refreshes the screen 120 times per second resulting in smooth scrolling and battery mobility.
